Watch: Sandeep No Ball, Samad's Last-Ball Six As SRH Clinch Thriller vs RR

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is well-known for its dramatic finishes and it was just the case as Sunrisers Hyderabad cinched a last-ball thriller against Rajasthan Royals in Jaipur on Saturday. With 5 runs to win from the final delivery of the match, Abdul Samad miscued his shot off the bowling of Sandeep Sharma and it looked like RR have won the match. However, the celebrations were cut short as the umpire signaled no-ball. Replays showed that Sandeep had overstepped and he had to bowl the final ball all over again. Samad was on strike once again and this time, he made no mistake as he slammed the ball directly over the bowler's head for a six and SRH completed the highest chase at the venue.

Riding on aggressive fifties by Jos Buttler (95) and Sanju Samson (66), Rajasthan Royals posted a challenging 214 for two after winning the toss and electing to bat.

In response, Abhishek Sharma (55), Rahul Tripathi (47) kept them in the hunt before Yuzvendra Chahal (4/29) snapped four wickets to almost derail their chase.

A cameo from Glenn Phillips (25) reignited the chase as Abdul Samad's (17 not out off 7 balls) knocked off the winning runs with a six in the last ball following a no-ball from Sandeep Sharma.

For Sunrisers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/44) and Marco Jansen (1/44) took one wicket each.

Watch: Riled Up Siraj Gets Into Argument With DC Star, Warner Joins In

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammed Siraj lost his cool at Delhi Capitals wicketkeeper-batter Phil Salt during their Indian Premier League (IPL) match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday. The incident happened in the penultimate over of the powerplay during DC's chase. Salt hit Siraj for three boundaries on the trot, with two of them going all the distance. In order to bounce back, Siraj bowled a short-pitched delivery to Salt, who threw his bat at it, only for the umpire to call it a wide.

Siraj wasn't happy with the decision as he approached Salt and gave the Englishman a mouthful. DC captain David Warner tried to act as a peacemaker, but Siraj also gave him the same treatment. The pacer was also seen making some gestures, asking Salt to keep quiet.

With the help of half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Mahipal Lomror, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) posted 181/4 at the end of 20 overs in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Saturday.

Finance Ministry Allows Aadhaar-Based Client Verification To 22 Firms

The Finance Ministry has allowed 22 financial companies, including Amazon Pay (India) and Hero FinCorp, to undertake Aadhaar-based authentication of clients.

The ministry, through a notification, said these 22 companies, which are already reporting entities under the PMLA, will be able to verify the identity of clients and beneficial owners' details using their Aadhaar numbers.

These 22 financial companies include Godrej Finance, Amazon Pay (India) Pvt Ltd, Aditya Birla Housing Finance, Tata Motors Finance Solution, IIFL Finance and Mahindra Rural Housing Finance Ltd.

Nangia Andersen LLP Partner Sandeep Jhunjhunwala said that while Aadhaar authentication of clients is made available as one of the modes of verification for banking companies, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) provides that Aadhaar authentication can also be adopted by reporting entities other than banking companies as may be notified by the central government.

"Accordingly, the CG has notified a list of 22 financial institutions/intermediaries, which are permitted to use Aadhaar authentication to verify the identity of clients/ beneficial owners," Jhunjhunwala said.

The other modes of verification prescribed under the Money Laundering Act include offline verification under the Aadhaar Act, use of a passport and any other officially valid document or modes of identification as may be notified by the central government, and the client has a voluntary choice to opt for the mode of verification.

"In the interest of safeguarding the identity information and authentication records of individuals, the Money Laundering Act prohibits reporting entities from storing the Aadhaar number or core biometric information of the client, where Aadhaar is used to verify identity," Jhunjhunwala added.
